CREATE Design+Architecture is a vibrant multi-consultancy practice run by a professional and enthusiastic team. We have new opportunities in the Cornwall studio. We have a mix of project typologies, varying in size and complexity, from single houses to large mixed -use schemes. Create are one of the fastest growing and award winning UK practices. We are innovative and technologically advanced, including BIM, virtual reality, and drone/point cloud surveys. The ideal candidate would be proficient in REVIT (training will be provide), with a minimum of 2 years’ UK project experience. A thorough working knowledge of RIBA stages, building regulations and site experience would be advantageous.

This position is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis and CVs will be considered for Technically driven Architects, Part II Architectural Assistants with experience as well as Architectural Technologists.

In this role you will be working on projects within the Cornwall/Devon and London regions, whilst living in the lovely surroundings of the Southwest England.

We are looking for the role to commence as soon as possible so please outline any working notice you may require.

A key desire is for creating buildings highly energy efficient; we have a projects where they will be zero carbon and there is an opportunity for the candidate to be involved.

The following are some, though not an exclusive list, of the duties you will be expected to carry out:

  • Contribute positively to the overall successful management and profitability of the business
  • Work effectively and collaboratively within in a team
  • Develop projects from concept through to planning application, preparing drawings, Design & Access Statements and helping to co-ordinate the consultant team input
  • Work on RIBA Stage 4 & 5 preparing technical information including general arrangement drawings, details and NBS Specifications
  • Help deliver the goal of staff and client satisfaction
