Job Description

Wider-Arcada Structural Design is hiring!

We are looking for a self-motivated structural engineer having experience (5+ years) in residential structures- from small to medium size jobs.

Responsibilities
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, and design analysis
• Performing site visits
• Perform construction-related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, and occasional specialized structural inspections
• Collaborate with architects and designers and building contractors on the design and construction of projects
• Verification of less experienced engineers’ work

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in the structural design of residential/commercial buildings
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Structural Engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Other
• Flexible working hours
• Possibility of remote working
• Working 3, 4 or 5 days a week, depending on the individual preferences – to be discussed during the interview
