Rud Sawers Architects is a practice based in Totnes, Devon committed to high quality, contemporary design with an approach that is practical, sustainable, value for money and accessible for all.
The practice has a simple design philosophy to transform project constraints into opportunities that produce inventive, unique and beautiful buildings.
With extensive working experience at a number of design-led architectural practices, our work is characterised by well-considered, inspiring design. The work is carried out with a client friendly sense of fun and a collaborative team approach.
From 1996 to 2006, Rud worked alongside London and Manchester based practices including Hodder Associates, Michael Hopkins and Partners, Feilden Clegg Bradley on numerous award-winning projects.
Rud established the practice following relocating to Devon in 2006 and since this time have completed approximately 75 buildings. These range from extensions and conversions, new build residential projects, new hotels, sports, leisure and conference centres, a transport station, numerous education projects and a 99-unit residential housing scheme.
