JOB VACANCY – ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST/ ARCHITECT

FULL TIME 37.5 hours a week

PERMANENT CONTRACT

Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.

The ARK team are looking for an Architectural Technologist/ Architect to join their vibrant and growing team.

We look forward to welcoming the right candidate to our fresh new premises based in Newquay!

Based in Cornwall, ARK is a design led architectural practice, providing professional architectural services for all types of development. We are a CIAT registered practice and a member of the AECB.

We specialise in bespoke contemporary residential developments, renovations, and extensions using innovative and cutting-edge design for sustainable solutions.

Our projects predominately take us all over Cornwall and over the border to Devon.

All applicants will meet the following criteria:

  • MCIAT Chartered Architectural Technologist or ACIAT Architectural Technologist/ Technician working towards MCIAT. Alternatively, RIBA or other architectural qualification.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and 365 Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the planning systems and Building Regulations.
  • Fully competent in producing building regulations drawings and tender information.
  • A collaborative team player who has experience of working with external consultants and who can also work independently when required.
  • Demonstrable experience in residential and commercial sectors.
  • A strong interest and working ethos in energy efficient and sustainable design.
  • Experience in meeting with clients and running site meetings.
  • Experience of conducting measured surveys.
  • Good communication and written skills.
  • Current CPD record.
  • Hold a current UK Driving License.
