Job Description

Portus and Whitton are looking to recruit a Senior/Associate Landscape Architect (Preferably Chartered) with the experience to lead and manage jobs from initial enquiry through to completion.

Skills and Qualifications required :

Qualified to postgraduate level and a member of the Landscape Institute.

Current full driving licence and access to a car for site visits and attendance at meetings etc

A keen interest and flair for design led work ranging from masterplans through to large private gardens.

Experience of working with and as part of a project team.

A thorough understanding of the UK planning system.

Proficiency in undertaking LVIAs

Excellent report writing skills, attention to detail and use of English.

Proficient in using CAD and other associated software packages (Vectorworks advantageous)

In addition, you will be confident and professional in dealing with Clients, Project Managers and Contractors. You will be capable of pricing work and issuing Fee Proposals as well as managing jobs to budget.

You will be an enthusiastic Team player and comfortable assisting, advising and supporting other members of the Team.
