How would you like to work in the picturesque town of Henley in Arden? an array of eateries, bars, and beautiful walks on the doorstep for you to enjoy during lunch breaks or after hours.
We are working with an architectural studio that is situated right on the High Street. They are looking to appoint a number of technical staff and so we are keen to hear from experienced Architectural Technicians or Technologists. The roles they are looking to fill offer hybrid working, flexibility, and an inclusive culture. The work they do is varied and ranges from bespoke dwellings to large development sites for regional housebuilders.
An excellent opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Architectural Technician to become an important part of this growing practice and deliver on a variety of exciting projects – predominantly residential new-builds for large house builders with developments across various commercial sectors also.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in working for developer clients or national house builders and commercial projects, whilst having sound technical knowledge and a good understanding of the UK Building Regulations.
Revit and AutoCAD are the main software packages used within the practice, so would be an essential attribute – Architectural Technicians / Technologists with previous BIM experience will also be looked upon favorably.
To be considered for this opportunity you will have:
Broad experience in the production of technical drawing / detailing packages.
Confidence in coordinating and liaising with other consultants.
The ability and experience of liaising with local authority planning departments to obtain planning & building regulations approval.
A flexible and positive approach to working with a team or independently.
experience of preparing NBS specifications for construction work.
a full UK Driving licence and own transport so that you can participate in site visits and meetings.
