Job Description
We are currently representing a well-established House Builder that is actively looking for an Architectural Technician / Technologist to join their growing team around the Buckinghamshire area. This is an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technician / Technologist to build and develop their career within talented team.
The successful Architectural Technician / Technologist must have experience with producing technical construction drawings, ideally in the Residential sector. Our client is a leading provider of sustainable and vibrant homes so they are seeking an Architectural Technician / Technologist that has a passion for sustainability and working within this sector.

Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Overview
- Work on a range of sustainable and exciting developments within the Residential sector
- Work alongside external Consultants, suppliers and building control bodies to ensure full tender packages or working drawings are delivered
- Prepare schedules and specifications in line with the working drawing package
- Liaise with other departments and assist with technical issues relating to regulations
- Attend and chair project team meetings
- Ensure all consultants are working to key deadlines
- Liaise with NHBC Building Control Department to clear conditions
- Use AutoCAD on a daily basis and occasionally Revit
Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Requirements
- Living in or around the Buckinghamshire area
- Relevant Degree Qualified (HNC / HND)
- High proficiency with AutoCAD
- Knowledge / Experience with Revit; Beneficial
- Experience within the Residential sector
- Ability to produce technical construction drawings
- Keen interest in Architectural Technology and Sustainability
- Up to date knowledge of Building Regulations and NHBC Standards

Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Remuneration
- Salary; £36,000 – £42,000 (DOE)
- Excellent company pension
- 24 days’ holiday + BH
- Working Hours: Mon – Thurs 8:45am to 5:30pm, Friday 8.45am to 4:15pm
